US v. China: Sex Base System

It's one of those assumptions that is embedded in you since middle school: The Hooking up Base system.

If you don't remember (or your too old to remember), it goes something like this.

When you hook up with a girl, you can easily qualify and determine how far you got by the baseball bases analogy.

1st Base: Kissing, a little bit of touching, but basically anything kissing based.
2nd Base: Get all of the girl's clothes off except for her panties.
3rd Base: Oral/BJ.
Home: Sex.

There might be slight variations in what each base is defined as, but its primarily the same. And the most important part is that everyone knows it.

It is usually a hard feat to hit a home run, no matter the sport, but its particularly hard in the hooking up game. Although it does happen, usually only the best players can swing like ARod.

In reality, though, what is the reason for these bases and why is sex sooo hard to achieve? I would argue that it is due to the Judeo/Christian cultural base in the US and the importance and "up on a pedestal" stature that sex has with people. Or it might be that Americans are the prudes as described in Eurotrip...and the ones who have the least sex (as described in this Men's Health article).

In China, things are a little different. There is no underlying religion that makes sex something other than sex and there is no real base system. The only prelude for a sex with a Chinese girl is this...

The first Kiss.

The theory goes like this. If you can get a Chinese girl to kiss you, you can have sex with her. This has worked well for me and many of my entourage. Let me repeat.

If you can get a Chinese girl to kiss you, you can have sex with her.

The base system doesn't exist in China. No girls state that they're only going to go to 2nd base or 3rd base. If your kissing in your room, than it's game on.

For all of the Casanovas out there who think you can kiss any and every girl out there, think again. It is actually very difficult to get a Chinese girl to kiss you. They usually don't do it easily and never in public. Maybe the conception of intimacy is the same for kissing and sex.

So in China, this is the real game. Don't think about the Barry Bonds home run. Just get that single. When your on base, the defense basically plays defensive indifference.
